I decided that if I were to teach a class, I would love to teach media editing. I truly believe that editing is learned in two ways, hands-on and visually. Therefore, my resources will reflect that. How to Use Premiere Pro for Beginners
This is a link to YouTube videos, many of them very educational on he basic (and some advanced) aspects of using Premiere Pro as an editing software.
Adobe Site
Here is the site where a student can download all the software, specifically Premiere Pro, that Adobe offers in order to create content.
I think this is a good idea! However, for the first link, maybe picking out which video you think would be most useful would be better than just posting the link to a youtube search.
